Alex Cooper Auctioneers, Inc. is a name synonymous with conducting successful auction sales throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.  The company traces its roots back to 1924 when a young Alex Cooper entered the auction business, buying and selling real estate as well as antique furniture and fine arts.  The organization has since grown to include 3 additional generations of family who are actively involved in day to day operations.  The present day Alex Cooper Auctioneers, with over 50 employees, specializes in the sale of residential, commercial and industrial real estate as well as antiques, household furnishings, vehicles, office equipment and industrial machinery.  Over the last decade we have handled well over 100,000 auctions.  The foundation of our business is built on providing experienced and personalized service to our clients.

Our beautifully appointed, 34,000 sq. ft. auction gallery in Towson, MD and our Washington DC office provide an unsurpassed setting for all types of auctions. We have also been recognized as experts in marketing and selling a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial properties.
